Dear reader,

Behind the scenes at Sino-NK, we have been working all summer long to revamp our website. The goal of the revamp is to bring the following great content to our readers:

1.      All our regular featured essays, with as much detail and analytical rigor as ever; but also

2.      A great many more responsive and journalistic posts, in which our analysts dig into a single source, usually in Korean or Chinese; as well as

3.      Scholarly coverage of developments in the field of China-North Korea relations, North Korea, and the Korean peninsula and Northeast Asian region; and

4.      More work from our partners, which already include The Guardian, Leiden University, and the Nautilus Institute.

Our new site upgrade should make all these things and more possible, and we cannot wait to open it to the public. Have a pleasant Korean Liberation Day, and we’ll see you on the other side.

Yours,

The Sino-NK Team
